Post subject: Spore, All that and a bag of chips????

Well SPORE is in stores today, and there are 3.. yes three articles on spore on MSNBC.com just today. Not to mention the other articles that were on MSNBC.com prior to these three.
Its really amazing what a big marketing budget can do, but I fear its not going to be enough. And the main reason is DRM.
Spore very well could be the greatest game ever created. It literally can be all that, but the heavy handed DRM that EA as placed on spore will prevent me and many like me from purchasing the game.
Which is a shame. I really wanted to get this game. I even put the release date on the calender so the wife knew not to schedule anything for the next two weeks after release as I would be occupied. I had held out hope that EA would change their minds and change the DRM but who was I kidding this is EA we are talking about.
Oh well.. its a good thing WAR open beta started, what else was I to do with the two weeks of open time now  |

| yeah I had high hopes for spore in the early stages but they screwed it up. as for WAR open beta I have it but my sign in doesn't work |
